We wanted to take the time to give all you brides out there some information you will need to know for planning your wedding.

Bridal gowns run about 2 sizes smaller than what you would normally wear.  So you would take your jean size and up that 2 sizes to get your bridal size.  For example if you normally wear a size 6 jeans you will probably be a size 10 in bridal gowns.  Of course if you are going to order a gown in we will take your measurements and find the right size dress based off those.  Don't get caught up in sizes girls, look at the dress and how it makes you look and feel 

Bridal gowns need to be ordered 6 months in advance...they may not always take this long to come in, but you need to make sure you allow that much time just to be safe.  Alterations should be done about 6-8 weeks before the wedding with an additional fitting 2 weeks before the wedding.  All alterations in our store are additional to the cost of your wedding gown, but are very reasonably priced. 

Bridesmaids gowns need to be ordered 3 to 4 months in advance, also allowing alterations about 2 months prior to the wedding date.  Flower girl dress and tuxedo orders only need be placed about a month in advance. 

We do not carry mothers gowns, but you can always purchase a bridesmaids dress and add a jacket, we have companies you can order them through.  However, all you mother's out there need to come in about 4 months before the wedding to get them ordered, a lot of mothers wait until the last minute, this is not advised.

Any accessories needed for the wedding usually can come in about a week or two weeks, shoes included.  Shoes are dyeable we just need a fabric swatch to send to our shoe company when they are ordered.  You will need to allow an extra two weeks for shoes that are dyed.
